Google Search Console Setup

Follow these steps to verify your site and submit your sitemap to Google.

Step 1

Go to Google Search Console

Visit Google Search Console and start the property verification process.

Step 2

Add Your Property

Click "Add Property" and enter your website URL:

Step 3

Verify Ownership (HTML Tag Method)

Google will provide you with an HTML meta tag. Copy that tag and send it to your developer to add to the <head> section of your website's layout file.

📧 Action Required: Forward the verification meta tag from Google to your developer to add it to the site's code.

Step 4

Submit Your Sitemap

After verification, submit your sitemap URL in the "Sitemaps" section:

Step 5

Verify Everything Works

Test that your robots.txt and sitemap are accessible:
